Carter Shepard
Carter Shepard was born in Chicago, IL. After growing up in the suburbs of Chicago, and graduating from Southern Illinois University, he became a school teacher and taught math for eight years. As a result of a business opportunity, he left teaching and entered a career in commercial printing management. Carter moved to Atlanta in 1986. He is a professional in commercial printing sales.
In 1978, he met John Scudder. John was a mystic who preformed hundreds of miracles including many documented miracle healings. His work has been reported in Newsweek Magazine, April 29, 1974, the television program That’s Incredible, and many other media venues. He became a mentor to Carter and taught him the truths of metaphysics and spirituality.
Carter has been a student of metaphysics and spirituality for almost 30 years. As a result of the lessons he learned from John, Carter has spoken to groups on metaphysics and reincarnation. He has also been involved with healing and led healing groups, has done exorcisms, and has been a teacher to many seeking spiritual growth.
In 1995, John Scudder passed to the other side. As a tribute to him, Carter wrote the book Back to Heaven. The book tells about John and is also about growing spiritually.
In 1991, Carter met Carolyn Cummings. She was just beginning her career as a psychic. He went for a reading, and they became fast friends. Carter and Carolyn have been communicating with John during their sessions for over 10 years.
